Ingredients
2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough 8 oz each
1 lb ground beef
1 packet Taco
seasoning mix or onion soup mix
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375°F and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Cook the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat until browned and fully cooked.
Drain excess grease, then stir in the taco seasoning mix or onion soup mix.
Unroll one can of crescent dough and press it into the bottom of the prepared baking dish, sealing the seams.
Spread the seasoned beef evenly over the crescent dough.
Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the beef.
Unroll the second can of crescent dough and place it over the filling, gently pressing the seams together.
Bake for 20–25 minutes, until the crescent dough is golden brown and cooked through.
Let cool for 5 minutes before slicing into squares and serving warm.
Notes
Use taco seasoning for a Tex-Mex flavor or onion soup mix for a savory beefy version. Serve with sour cream, salsa, or a simple side salad.
