Ingredients

  • 2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough 8 oz each
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet Taco seasoning mix or onion soup mix
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Cook the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat until browned and fully cooked.
  • Drain excess grease, then stir in the taco seasoning mix or onion soup mix.
  • Unroll one can of crescent dough and press it into the bottom of the prepared baking dish, sealing the seams.
  • Spread the seasoned beef evenly over the crescent dough.
  • Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the beef.
  • Unroll the second can of crescent dough and place it over the filling, gently pressing the seams together.
  • Bake for 20–25 minutes, until the crescent dough is golden brown and cooked through.
  • Let cool for 5 minutes before slicing into squares and serving warm.

Notes

Use taco seasoning for a Tex-Mex flavor or onion soup mix for a savory beefy version. Serve with sour cream, salsa, or a simple side salad.
