Ingredients
- 1 loaf of crusty Italian bread
- 1 pound of fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 cup of cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup of fresh parsley, chopped
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup of butter, melted
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Red pepper flakes (optional for heat)
Instructions
- Chop the shrimp and mix with cream cheese, mozzarella, parsley, garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Slice the bread in half and hollow out each half.
- Stuff the shrimp mixture into the hollowed bread halves.
- Brush with melted butter, wrap in foil, and bake at 375°F for 15 minutes. Unwrap and bake for an additional 5 minutes.
- Let cool briefly, slice, and serve warm.
