Ingredients
Dry Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Wet Ingredients
- 1/2 cup buttermilk Provides moisture and tanginess.
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

- 1 cup fresh blueberries Some can be crushed for added flavor.
Method
Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease your donut pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
- In another bowl, mix together buttermilk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract.
- Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients and stir until just mixed.
- Gently fold in the blueberries.
- Fill each donut mold about 2/3 full.
Baking
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow the donuts to cool for a few minutes before removing from the pan.
