Crispy Roasted Cauliflower

Ingredients:

  • 1 medium head of cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional, for extra flavor)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • Chopped fresh parsley (for garnish, optional)

Instructions:

1. PREHEAT OVEN:

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil for easy cleanup.

2. PREPARE CAULIFLOWER:

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine cauliflower florets, olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper. Toss until the florets are evenly coated.

3. SPREAD ON BAKING SHEET:

  • Spread the seasoned cauliflower florets in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Make sure they are not crowded to ensure crispiness.

4. ROAST:

  • Roast in the preheated oven for 25–30 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the cauliflower is golden brown and crispy on the edges.

5. ADD PARMESAN (OPTIONAL):

  • During the last 5 minutes of roasting, sprinkle the cauliflower with Parmesan cheese for a cheesy crust.

6. SERVE:

  • Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve immediately.

Tips:

  • For extra crispiness, turn on the broiler for the last 2–3 minutes of cooking, but watch carefully to prevent burning.
  • Serve as a side dish or snack with your favorite dipping sauce, such as garlic aioli or ranch.
